DMX began rapping in the end of 1990s. The rapper released his debut album It's Hot and Hell is DARK on May 19, 1998. Over the years he has recorded several albums, such as...And There was X and the Great Depression Year of the Dog...Again Redemption of the Beast and Flesh of my Flesh. In 2001, his album titled... and Then There was X received the Grammy nomination in the category Best Rap Album. His career in music was enhanced with appearances in films as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five - Exit Wounded, Never Die Alone - The Bleeding Romeo must die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw - Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
